  • flyadeal fly fare does not include a check-in baggage allowance, so you can use “Manage My Booking” option through flyadeal airlines official website and buy one before your departure flight.

  • The fly+ fare permits the passenger to carry one hand baggage up to 25kgs, with the option of buying extra pieces via flyadeal airlines official website.

  • The checked-in baggage must not exceed 75 x 50 x 35 cm in large, and if exceeded 140 x 85 x 65 cm, you will need to pay the relevant fee which is SAR100.

  • If any item exceeds 32kgs in weight and is heavier than the hold baggage allowance or the excess baggage allowance, it will be accepted for carriage.

  • You can prepay SAR65 for one check-in baggage with a maximum weight of 15kgs or SAR105 for one baggage of maximum weight of 25kgs.

 

The fees for Check-in Counter Hand Baggage 

  • Every extra baggage with a maximum weight of 15kgs costs SAR150.

  • Every extra baggage with a maximum weight of 15kgs costs SAR150.

  • The cost for an additional baggage with a maximum weight of 25kgs is SAR185.

  • The charge for the overweight baggage is SAR21 per kg.

 

The charges for Boarding Gate Hand Baggage 

If you discovered at the boarding gate that your cabin bag exceeds the baggage allowance, it will be checked in as hand baggage and you will be charged with SAR250.

 

Forbidden items in your Check-in baggage

The following items cannot be carried on the aircraft:

  • Items that are forbidden by local law like drugs and alcohol.

  • Items that flyadeal determines its existence could put the aircraft at risk, such as radio-active materials, liquids that cause flammes, poisons, compressed gases, explosives, corrosives like acids and wet cell batteries, disabling devices like pepper sprays and offensive or magnetised materials.

  • It is recommended not to enclose in your hand baggage perishable or destructible items, like money, jewellery, personal electronic devices, business documents and identification documents.

  • You are allowed to carry only one free cabin baggage with a maximum weight of 7kgs and maximum dimensions of 55 x 35 x 25 cm.

  • If you have an additional or oversized cabin baggage, it will be accepted as hand baggage, and the related excess baggage fees are applied.

  • If you have an infant, you are allowed to hold one small cabin bag that must fit under the seat ahead of you.

 

Forbidden items in your Cabin Baggage

For your safety try not to bring the next items in your cabin baggage:

  • Any item that affects the safety and/or the security of the aircraft, such as swords, knives, explosives or flammable substances, chemical and toxic substances and sharp or bladed objects like scissors.

  • If flyadeal recognizes any items which may not be carried as cabin baggage, they may give you the option to check in these items as hold baggage or refuse to transport them altogether. 

 

flyadeal Excess Baggage 

Excess Baggage indicates baggage which cannot be enclosed in your cabin baggage or hand baggage, as detailed in your fare regulations, but which can be considered as hold luggage with an extra service charge.

  • Paying for the excess baggage service fees does not necessarily guarantee the carriage of your baggage on the same flight.

  • If you prepaid for the excess baggage before your arrival to the airport, you will be charged as follows :

  • The cost for each piece that weighs up to 15kgs is SAR65.

  • The cost for each piece that weighs up to 25kgs is SAR105.

  • If you haven’t prepaid for your excess baggage, you will be charged as follows: 

  • The cost for each piece that weighs up to 15kgs is SAR150.

  • The cost for each piece that weighs up to 25kgs is SAR200.

  • For overweight baggage with 15kgs or 25kgs, you will be charged with SAR21 per kg.

  • The flyadeal team has the right to hold your excess cabin baggage and you will have to pay a fee of SAR 250 at the boarding gate for each piece that weighs up to 25kgs. 

 

Almosafer tips & tricks while booking flyadeal

  • Try to avoid paying for the additional baggage at the airport, instead, you can check it in to your booking before your departure flight through clicking on "Manage My Booking.

  • For safety reasons, flyadeal cannot accept baggage that weighs over 32kgs.

  • If carrying a manual folding wheelchair, it will be checked in as hand baggage with no extra fees. 

  • Travelling with an Assistance Dog will not cost any extra fees. You are also able to carry onboard any necessary small related items besides your ordinary cabin baggage allowance.

  • You are allowed to carry modern collapsible crutches beside your cabin baggage allowance, which must be packed in the above bins to avoid any inconvenience.

  • flyadeal has an insufficient cabin space, so they cannot accept crutches that do not fold.

  • Before boarding, if you are flying with plaster casts, which must be at least 2 days old, you will need to show a medical certificate that carries the doctor signature and that confirms that you are eligible to fly.

  1. What other items are permitted in the cabin baggage?

Any other items than the allowed cabin baggage weighing 7kgs, such as handbags, laptops or other types of baggage can be placed in your cabin or checked in as hold baggage.

  1. Do you provide infants with their own baggage allowance?

The infant does not have a baggage allowance unless you paid him a full fare. Therefore, you are allowed to carry one extra small cabin baggage that can be placed under the seat in front of you.

  1. What if my hold baggage never arrived at the baggage carousel or arrived ruined?

When facing such a case, you can visit the baggage counter desk and fill-in a detailed Property Irregularity Form which should be stamped by the airport staff. Then, you must send a scanned copy of the form with your details to wecare@flyadeal.com or simply call flyadeal call center on 92000 0121 or +966 (0) 12 6539515. 

  1. Am I allowed to carry a baby stroller onboard?

If carrying any baby strollers, and you have already checked in online, then you need to be at least one hour prior to your departure time at the check in counter to get the stroller a luggage tag to be stored right before boarding.

  • You can collect it later at the baggage carousel after landing. 

  1. Am I allowed to buy excess baggage in advance?

Yes, you are permitted to buy excess baggage prior to your flight and save up to 60% off. You can easily use the “Manage My Booking” option online up to two hours before your departure time and add more bags.
