  • As per the government’s recent decision, all COVID-19 related restrictions have been lifted. Hence, passengers from all countries, except those in the virus-variant list, are now allowed to enter Germany for all purposes restriction-free.
  • COVID-19 restrictions only apply on passengers coming from or those who have visited any virus-variant country in the past 10 days before entering Germany; however, the list does not include any country/area at the current time.
    • Passengers coming from any virus-variant country/area must adhere to the following:
      • Provide a negative report of a COVID-19 test (antigen or PCR tests taken no more than 48 hours prior to entry), regardless of their immunisation status.
      • Adhere to a 14-day home/accommodation quarantine.
  • Pre-travel online registration is not required until the end of August. This doesn’t apply to passengers entering from a virus-variant country/area.
  • Recently, the government has added WHO-approved vaccines to the list of vaccines approved for entry to Germany.
