Day 2

Kyle of Lochalsh
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast and admire the scenic views as the train heads north to Inverness. In the afternoon, have your lunch en route to Kyle of Lochalsh. Marvel at the stunning views as you pass Loch Luichart, the ancient Torridon Mountains, Luib summit and Achnashellach Forest before arriving at Strathcarron. Here, you can explore the Attadale Gardens, a 30,000-acre estate that has been the Macpherson family's domain since the 1950s. Later on, enjoy light refreshments with your hosts at their historic home or embark on a boat excursion in Plockton to see wild seals & breathtaking landscapes. Return to the train at Kyle of Lochalsh where it will halt for the night. Enjoy a delicious dinner and head to the Observation Car for a musical evening.

Aviemore
Begin your day with a wonderful breakfast as the train departs from Kyle, offering scenic views en route to Inverness. Upon arrival, you can choose to deboard and explore the Tomatin Distillery, established in 1897 or stay aboard to listen to animated tales of the Jacobites and Scotland's rich history by a Highland storyteller. As the morning turns to afternoon, enjoy a delightful lunch before going on a Ballindalloch Castle excursion in Aviemore.
