Day 1

Depart from Cusco
Step aboard the Andean Explorer in Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, and prepare for a memorable journey. Settle into your deluxe cabin as the train heads southeast to Puno. Enjoy a delightful lunch of Andean specialties in one of the elegant dining cars while taking in the stunning views. The train will stop at Tinta Station, where you can disembark to explore Raqch'i, an Incan archaeological site. Discover the site before boarding the train. Enjoy the stunning views of the La Raya mountain range as you prepare for dinner. Socialize with fellow passengers in the bar car as the train continues its journey to Lake Titicaca, where it will stop for the night.

Day 2

Puno
On day 2, you will explore Lake Titicaca, South America's biggest lake and home to several islands. Start your day with a delicious breakfast, then embark on a traditional boat ride to the islands of the Uros, created artificially by weaving reeds. Capture the beauty of these unique islands before heading to Taquille Island for a leisurely lunch, followed by a visit to the pristine Collata Beach. After your exploration, return to the train at Puno Station and refresh yourself with afternoon tea as the train prepares to depart for Sacacoha.

Arequipa
