A trip to Vienna is not complete without a visit to the Schloss Hof, a Baroque-style building that spreads over 16 hectares. One of the most beautiful 17th-century buildings in the world, the palace was restored in 2002 at a cost of more than 30 million Euros. Initially a one-story citadel, the palace was ordered to be transformed as a hunting manor by military commander Prince Eugene of Savoy.
