Narikala Fortress

Enjoy a dramatic view of the city from Narikala Fortress! Nicknamed as the ’Mother Fortress of Tbilisi’, this impressive building was established in the 4th century, around the time when Tbilisi was founded. Embark on a journey of discovery along the Narikala Tourist route, a 1500 metre trail that begins from the top of the ridge near the Mother Georgia statue and goes all the way around Old Town and stops at the Botanical Gardens.
