Tunnel of Hope

A striking reminder of the war-stricken past of the country, this attraction is unsurprisingly a symbol of hope as well. Stretching 800 metres, this tunnel served as an escape route for refugees and also a medium to access food and ammunition! The tunnel functioned as a lifeline for almost three years when Sarajevo was under siege and should definitely not be missed.
