Vjecna Vatra

A memorial to the military and civilian victims of World War II, this historic landmark is also called the ‘Eternal Flame’, thanks to a flame that never relinquishes. The memorial came into being in 1946, a year after Sarajevo gained independence from Nazi occupation.
