Museum of the Frankincense Land

The Museum of the Frankincense Land stands alone as an exclusive museum in Salalah housing an impressive display of artefacts excavated from the ruins of the ancient city of Zafar. Visitors can also marvel at the copy of the letter sent by Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) to the people of Oman alongside colourful manuscripts of the Holy Quran, and intricately curated models of Oman’s mosques and tombs, among others.
