Labelled the ‘queen of all private art collections’, this museum is home to stunning pieces by Caravaggio, Raphael and Titian, and Bernini. Cardinal Scipione Borghese, a knowledgeable art collector in the 1600s, curated the museum, which is divided into two parts: the ground-floor gallery, with fantastic sculptures, Roman floor mosaics and elaborate frescoes, and a picture gallery upstairs.
