Frederick Hendrick Museum

The Frederik Henrik Museum is a historical site which showcases the remains from the Dutch colonial period. Initially a fort, it has now been refurbished into a museum to pay tribute to the Dutch and French colonial settlements in Mauritius. These remnants were found during archaeological excavations. Set in a serene garden, the museum is home to bastions, prisons and a bakery.
