Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden

The oldest Botanical Garden in the Southern hemisphere, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden is home to a wide range of flora and fauna. Just a few kilometres away from Port Louis, this absolutely magical garden, which stretches over 37 hectares, was opened as a private garden during the French colonial period.
