Victoria and Albert Museum

The Victoria and Albert Museum collection homes roughly 4.5 million objects spanning 5,000 years of art from ancient times to the modern era. The museum is the world's largest of applied and decorative arts and design, as well as sculpture. It was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.

Fun fact

One of the collection’s earliest sculptures is an Egyptian ivory casket leg in the form of a lion's paw dating back to the 4th century!
