Istiklal Street

Running from Taksim Square to Galata Tower, Istiklal Street is the busiest street in the city.  If you want to capture the vibrant spirit of Istanbul, then you should definitely not miss this 1.5km-long colourful pedestrian street. Walk along the cobbled pathways dotted with cute boutiques and restaurants. While you are there, do not miss the Flower Passage, a historical arcade with cafes and restaurants.
