While it was founded in 1879, this gorgeous and historic theatre was renovated in 1961 after a major fire destroyed many of its rooms and halls. Since then, this opulent space has hosted a string of fine events, including opera, ballet and musical performances by some of Switzerland’s and the world’s best performers.
