Home to a vast collection of Asian art pieces that includes Buddhist statues as well as traditional Thai paintings that are made of wood, cloth and paper, the Jim Thompson House is a museum in central Bangkok that is worth a visit. It was the Bangkok home of American businessman Jim H.W Thompson, also known as the ’Thai Silk King’, and today, it gives visitors the opportunity to admire a wide range of Asian antiques and Thai silk.
