This former residence of the Shirvanshahs’ rulers is composed of several historic buildings. In addition to the palace, you’ll find a courtyard, courthouse, burial vault, and a mosque built in 1441, featuring a minaret, bathhouse and mausoleum of the court scholar, Sayid Yahya Bakuvi. The site was built between the 13th and 16 centuries and included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000.
