Located roughly 3 kilometres from the city of AlUla, Jabal Ikmah is an ‘open-air library’ where visitors can admire ancient writings and inscriptions that date back to the Lihyan civilisation. The mountain is also considered Dadan’s largest source of information on trade, economy and taxes. It is also decorated with hundreds of etched and relief inscriptions that date back to the Dadanite and Lihyanite periods.
