Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

To enter the catacombs, you need to journey down a spiral staircase. Making up one of the largest known Roman burial sites in Egypt, these ancient catacombs feature three tiers of tombs and chambers sliced from bedrock to a depth of 35 metres, although the bottom is flooded and inaccessible.
