Shada Palace

Built in 1927, Shada Palace is a true reflection of the architecture of Saudi Arabia. It was constructed as a palace for the then Saudi governor, but is now home to many interesting local handicrafts, household tools, coins, manuscripts and photographs that depict life in Abha. Do not miss visiting this heritage building, which is one of the very few traditional structures that still exist.

The palace has high walls that provided privacy to the women who lived there
