ALIYAH LODGE is situated on the main road of Cairo Baharya Oases , about 350 Kms from Cairo & 4 Kms before Baharyas main village . You will be startled by the quietness and the splendid view, overlooking the unique palm trees gardens , natural hot spring about 35 °C, the English mountain and the distant sand dunes of the Sahara.Construction and staffAliyah lodge is built on the style of the famous architecture Hassan Fathi , we just changed building material from mud brakes to natural stones.Our Lodge is built in a way to keep the air well circulated during the hot season, the rooms have high ceilings .The entire construction of Aliyah Lodge has been carried out by local craftsmenOur staff is 90 % from the local villageOnly local and natural materials are used No air condition using at aliyah lodge .Bed linen and all textile materials in our Lodge are natural and grown and manufactured in Egypt.WaterTap water is filtered with Hi-tech-filters and offered to our guests in glass bottles for drinking purposes. This way we reduce huge amounts of waste of PET-bottles, minimize transportation costs and CO2 emissions.We drilled our own water which now feeds our natural pool with warm water of about 35°C. The overflow of the pool is directed in a canal system to our farms, where we grow organic vegetable and fruits .WasteWaste is reduced to a minimum, separated and most of it recycled.
